Guys I am not near my rifle but I want to try make sure before I ordered a set of rings for my rifle I will have enough clearance. The Rem 700 with a EGW 0 moa base and extra low TPS rings holding a USO with a 44mm obj. Think it will clear?

Re: Enough Space?

I use TPS super low rings and TPS 20 MOA base. I have enough clearance for my 50mm sightron. The USO will have a thicker tube than the sightron though.

Re: Enough Space?

what USO scope?
My ST-10 had a very sharp angle from the tube to the objective eyepiece which limited the rearward adjustability of the optic. I had to cut off a chunk of my base to make it all work properly. I'd personally wait until it all came in, stick magazines between your optic and base until you get the right height for you, measure the thickness of the magazines and then buy rings to fill that gap...

Re: Enough Space?

I would be able to do this if I was going to be home longer then two weeks. Want to spend most of the time enjoying the new scope then waiting for mail. Can't be gone too long from the sand box.

Re: Enough Space?

Back order. Well I might have to wait if I want TPS rings. No joy
Maybe I should try super low.

Brownell to the rescue. Got the last pair.

Re: Enough Space?

Sorry, I haven't gotten back. I have about 2-3mm of clearance with the 50mm objective and butler creeks. Are you able to find the outside diameter of the USO scope? The OD of the Sightron I'm using is 2.28 inches.
