I received my new USO SN-4 1.5-6 DFP yesterday and made it to the range today.
It works as expected and I had no issues in getting it zeroed. My Zero Stop is at 10 clicks (1 mil) off bottom. I went out to 500 Meters using reticle holdovers with my 77 gr SMKs /w no issues, despite some blustery weather.
Is there any magic involved if I move it to another rifle?
Initial mount on the AR is in a LaRue LT-104 (0 MOA). At some point I will try it on my G-Gun FAL using the USO Single Point Ring. The base on the FAL is also 0 MOA (sorta), but there is considerable adjustments needed when I switch between these types of rifles.
I "think" all is good and I can use the existing zero stop setting - and just tweak the elevation using the center screw. Does this sound correct or is there a way (or need) to take it back to the factory settings?
Thanks.
