I have been looking at the USO scopes that are for sale on this sight. Can you tell me why some Mil EREK turrets have double row of numbers and some have single row of numbers on the turret. Do scopes with single row number turret mean it is an older scope but have the same amount of elevation adjustment?

Yes. You can have a turret marked for double turns or just single.
I have both for my SN-3 and prefer the single because I am aging a bit and the single has larger markings.
It does not change the available elevation, just makes it easier to know where you are in the second revolution.
