Thats a lot of money for a 600 dollar rifle

If you want an actual M24 from Remington, then buy it. There’s an entire thread on this that has a massive back and forth as to why you should or shouldn’t get one.

If you want it for nostalgic, historic, or cloning purposes, then get it. It will run 175gr like a champ and pretty much shoots itself. If you just want an R700 308 in long action (eww) with a heavy barrel, then I’d pass and go with a more modern system.

IMHO it's a bit steep in price for what you get. I bought an M24 return with the M3A ultra optic and parts kit for a little less. Fun gun to shoot and it really liked FGMM 175s. Sold it at a profit when the novelty wore off.
