Expander button needed for 338 lapua reloading with Redding neck sizing die?

I've just started to reload for the 338 lapua Magnum and I've got the Redding Competition Die set. My question is do I need to order a Redding sizing button or am I better off without it?

You are talking about the carbide ball right? If you are sizing in one step, don't use it
