Expanding ball/mandrel removal

Is anyone removing their expanding ball/mandrel from their full length bushing dies?

I'm finding some conflicting information out their.

I leave mine out unless the neck is dinged. I do neck turn.

I remove mine but then run my brass through a 21st Century TiN mandrel die to set final neck tension..

I remove mine also and run my brass over the Sinclair mandrel to give .001 neck tension.

I run mine in and haven't seen any problems. Figure I'd prefer the imperfections on the outside of the neck, away from the bullet. My runout is still very small
