Range Report Experience or Dope for S.E.Pakistan !!!

Seriously guys

Not looking for names or details etc but after dope / experience of 100m to 1000m in South Eastern provences ( mainly desert ) using 168grain .308 / 7.62 2680fps ammo.

Any help ( preferably without too much BS ) would really be appreciated.

Normally shooting in UK at 150ft elev, Baro 30.05, temp 62f, Rel Humid 42%

I am new at this, but apart from the conditions you listed for your “normal” sight in, don’t you need the conditions for the new location to calculate the dope?

curious as to why the 168? dope for that area is simply put together by using all the available data. simply input the field conditions as they are best known. temp, height above sea level....etc etc. there is no magic dope for s.e. pakistan

If you read my initial post / question it was to see if anyone had gotten any actual shooting experience in this location. You are correct about the needing location conditions but this would be a tweak on the day.
As i have not been there before i was hoping to get any additional info i could ahead of time to reduce time needed on site prior to shooting.

No choice on the ammo as it is being provided ( don't ask!!

).

I know about the "location" data but was hoping to hear from someone who had possibly shot in that area with any sort of area specific things to look out for or how / if their shot went as expected etc.

Maybe i could have worded the post better to reflect this as obviously no two rifles / loads / shot days are going to be the same. But people may have come across some local condition specific to the area to be aware of etc that may allow some pre-planning ahead of time to negate or minimise this.

Get a kestrel and a ballistic calculator. If you've got an iPod touch there are several available. Once you get it so that it matchs your real world data it will be very good at different locations. A he'll of alot better than someone giving you their drop chart.
