Experience with Criterion Remage barrels?

I have one in a 7mm rem mag and another spare one on the bench. Ive only shot the 1 and that is the first criterion barrel ive had. It shot so good i bought another one for spare. I shoot out to 1900 yards and it hammers. Honestly i had a few other barrels bartlein kriegers and shot with people who had them and my criterion out shot them. Big fan of them so far not saying that there better than the others brand hands down just in this one hammers crazy

I love mine. Have a SS Match on a 6.5 CM and it drives tacks. If I build another rifle I will buy one again. I like doing my own work and it's nice not having to machine the barrel. You say you have a trued action. Is the barrel already mounted? Criterion barrels are threaded for stock Remington threads. If it has been trued the Criterion barrel will not work because the threads will be loose.

Heck I didn’t even true up my Remington action just slapped it together and it’s shooting sub moa. Just took it to 900 yards last weekend. Also ordered mine through northland shooter supply. Just buy their barrel nut and recoil lug and call it a day.

I think he’s going to buy one of northlands trued actions. Those actions have a squared up bolt face and action face where it meet the recoil lug. I don’t believe the threads have been changed. A good choice in my opinion and only a few bucks more.

I'll be buying the trued action and barrel from Northland Shooters Supply - not all trued actions bore the thread .010.

It's been a while since I built mine. I didn't know they offered a trued action. Will definitely keep that in mind for my next build.
