I am a novice shooter with rifles.
My goal is to be very accurate at 500 yards and below.
I do not hunt and only want to shoot targets.

Remington 700 acc sd
Fire Lapping - Gunsmith
Trigger job - Gunsmith (set at 2 pounds)
1-Piece 20 MOA Picatinny-Style Scope Base
Weaver rings
leupold vx 3 4.5-14x50
sighted 200yards
Harris bipod

My question is

1. Does this look alright for an entry level shooter? (I am very new to rifles, lived with handguns all my life.)
2. What would you have done differently. (Did I already make any major mistakes?)
3. Should I replace the stock next? I have read the stock can be improved upon. (or how important is a floating barrel?)
4. Muzzle break or suppressor?

Thank you.

Stock first, get a surefire brake then you can put a surefire can on down the road. i would go with badger rings and bases. zero at 100yrds.
