Explosion speed

Hi guys,

How fast(speed) a cartrige explosion occurs? Does the quantity of the powder make any difference. Or is a slow burning versus a fast burning power make a difference?

modern powders burn, they don't "explode".... you answered your own question about slow burning vs fast burning powders
