Advanced Marksmanship Eye Issues and shooting

I’m on the post Cataract surgery side in my support/weak eye and wondering how a shooter deals with shots from the support side with compromised vision. Before surgery I was 20/440 and now am closer to 20/40 in that eye. My focus is more for hunting, but see it possible in some competitions too.

I’ve been trying to not shoot like a cross eyed dominant novice.

Can you get a contact prescription to handle this? I understand why you wouldn't want to wear it daily, but maybe popping it in for comps or field trips. Following this thread for more information. Good luck with this.
