I just processed payments of nearly $5,000 for two separate ambulance runs, my insurance having covered both of them 100%. One of them was from Philly to the house, because that's where my care providers are, and I came home under supervision, which meant ALS.
Without superior health insurance, I would have been condemned to a reduced set of choices, and an impossible waiting list. And I might not have survived.
Single-payer, Medicare for all, whatever you want to call it, is an imposition upon those who, through education, ability, drive, or just plain karma have the ability to afford more and better.
I don't see hardline Dem voters lining up to crowdfund my next misadventure, yet they expect us to empty out our pockets to sustain those who in many circumstances won't do for themselves. Charity at gunpoint is robbery.
Sorry, had to rant and didn't want to add to another mislabeled thread.
