What are the rules for F class, or where can I read about them?

    Re: F class

Not to deffer you from any help you may receive here, but the usa-rifleteams forum has the most knowledgeable F-Class help your going to find. Long Range Forum Rules are pinned in the forum as well.

There are two types of F Class - FT/R and F Open. I like FT/T because everyone shoots a .308, which levels the field quite a bit. Basic rules are:

    <span style="font-weight: bold"><span style="text-decoration: underline">F-T/R</span></span>

Caliber limited to .223 or .308 (unmodified).
    Sling and/or bipod allowed.
Rifle weight limit of 8.25 kgs (approx. 18.18 lbs).

    For more information on FTR rules and shooting, please visit the <span style="font-weight: bold"><span style="font-style: italic">U.S. F-T/R Team's website</span></span>.

    <span style="font-weight: bold"><span style="text-decoration: underline">F-Open</span></span>

Caliber limit of .35 and under.
Rifle weight of 10 kgs (approx. 22 lbs.).
    Adjustable front rest allowed.
    Rear bag allowed.
    Rail guns not allowed.
    3" wide forend.
Rifle must be shouldered when fired.
    Tables are prohibited.

    For precise F-class rules, please visit the <span style="font-weight: bold"><span style="font-style: italic">NRA website</span></span>.

    Re: F class

palmik, Washtenaw Sportsmens Club near Ann Arbor has monthly NRA 600 yard prone matches. Conventional prone and F class shooters participate. Only difference is the target center. The F class scoring rings are twice as tight.

    Conventional target:
    10 ring is 2 MOA
    X ring is 1 MOA

F class target: half that much
