I've come across what I think is a good deal in a transferable AK in 22lr. Does anyone know anything about them? It's probably the only machine gun I can afford to shoot with any regularity.

The only one I ever heard of was called something like the Army-Jaeger. There weren't many of them brought in during the '80s. Magazines may be a challenge.
Other than that, don't know much about them.
The only auto .22 I ever wanted was the AM-180. With a drum. Designed for prison guards. Could dump 180 rounds out of a drum in a few seconds!

The other ones that can be affordable are the Tippmans... They are a bit of an underground secret among miniatures collectors. Way more fun and interesting than an AK.
Last, if you watch the site of a guy named Wayne Driskill Miniatures, he occasionally gets .22 Furr Gatling guns. They run about $5k. But no papers, no transfer fee. And way 'cheaper' than most full autos. They are transferred just like any other .22. Lots of these show up on the market, built by machinists and then sold to fund a 'next' project. Wayne is probably the best dealer for them. They are little pieces of art!

It's an Armi Jeager I'm pretty sure. Not sure who did the convertion to FA though. I'll call tomorrow. It comes with 3 mags but I'll have to look into where I could possibly get more
There is one of the 22, mini 1919s at cabelas in Richfield wi. Pretty sure it was $12k.

Cabela's prices are way high... 8K is more a going price for a Tippman.
Lots of people asking stupid money for them. Not many getting it.
