on a totally unfired after market barrel,i believe a "break in" process is helpful. my question is do people think that there are noticeable benefits to same with a new factory barrel? they are all technically previously fired at the factory usually 1-5r i think. don't know of any factory built rifle that hasn't been test fired a few to make sure they work and are safe.

break in isn't necessary on a custom stainless barrel. there are thousands of posts on this.
clean it. fire 5-20 shots. maybe more. clean it again. clean it every 200-600 if accuracy drops off

I have a “broken in” factory 700 and one that was just shot. Both shoot sub moa. So in my experience, I see no benefit. So all my other rifles are just cleaned, right out of the box and fired until accuracy gets noticeably wonky.
Go to the Krieger site or the Bartlein site and read what they say.

Just shoot your rifle no need to break in the barrel its Good To GO... But WTf would I know ?
