I was looking at Gunblast.com and they have a write up that Savage is Mark II's from the factory threaded,

The article says that they are ave available through Lipsey's dealers but I think it's interesting to see how much Savage has been bringing out more and more specialized products like this. Maybe if there is enough demand they will make it reguar production?
