I say fairly new because I joined several weeks ago and just realized I never posted here! LOL
I am serious hunter, sport shooter, dog trainer, outdoor TV personality and boat company executive. My wife and I own and operate Lone Oak Retrievers in Dyersburg, Tennessee and our own production company, On The X Media. For seven years I produced and hosted Drake's Migration Nation on Sportsman Channel, and I currently serve as Business Operations Manager for Excel Boat Company.
For years I was a pretty skilled shotgunner. However, after losing the sight in my right eye three years ago I was forced to learn to shoot left-handed, and now I am mediocre with a shotgun at best. The good news is that I shoot a rifle better than ever, and I got into long range shooting a couple of years ago. Now, thanks to a couple of friends and a trip to K&M in Finger, TN last year I am addicted!
I currently have a Cooper Long Range 52 in 300 RUM topped with a Vortex HD AMG, and a custom 6.5 Creedmoor build featuring and Impact action, Bartlein barrel, Grayboe stock and DBM, Jewel trigger and topped with a NF ATACR F15-25x50. I also like building AR-15 rifles for accuracy.
I am really enjoying the Hide thanks to the no bull shit atmosphere. It is great to have a site where true experts are willing to give good information to amateurs like me!
