Rifle Scopes Falcon 4-14....ring question

Guys I just bought a Falcon 4-14 FFP. I am going to mount it on a Remington 700, varminte barrel with a 20 moa base.
Does anyone know what size scope rings I need? Say in Leupold or Badger.

Measure the OD of your objective in inches. Take half of that and then Subtract the height of your base in front. The remainder is what you need in Badger "A" height measurement to clear your barrel.

Or ...measure your objective OD in inches, take half of that, subtract .591" for your tube size, then subtract the height of your bases in front. The remainder is what you need in badger "B" height measurement to clear your barrel.

Make sure you allow an extree .10" for both to use the ubiquitous Butler Creek Scope Covers.

Don't know about the Mark 4 rings.

I have Burris XTR low rings on my Rem 700 with 20 MOA base (with the Falcon), and it works fine (as a point of reference..)

With the Burris low rings how much room do you have between the bottom of the scope and the top of the barrel.

I have IOR low rings rings (steel) on top of a Ken Ferrel 20 MOA base. It sits pretty low. My other one is in GG&G Highs on a seekins 20 MOA base and its pretty high.

I had the burris rings and personally didnt like the bulk. They were 6 screw from a special off swfa. YMMV thoguh good luck finding rings

I run mine in XTR low as well.
