Rifle Scopes Falcon Menace 4-14x44 FFP

Just got my first scope for my new Rem 700P, mounted the bases, rings and scope. After boresighting I went to slip the turrets to zero and noticed I do not have a hex on top of the turret like some pictures, but small opening on the side of each turret. I am afraid of harming the scope, as I can find no wrench to fit. Any Ideas?

there should be allen heads in them. Its newer model knobs.
