Well, that is almost as non-specific as you can get.
F-class or benchrest? No, of course not, the reticle is too coarse as are the adjustments.
Silhoutte shooting? Sure.
Trap or skeet shooting? No.
Now, if you are asking about tactical style shooting, again, yes. They have been used with good success.
IF you are on a budget, and that is the best scope you can afford, go for it. They work pretty damn good.
On the other hand, if you have a 3000 dollar custom rifle, plenty of expendable income and nothing else to expend it on, buy a better scope.
