I was on that shit for diabetes. First of all the fucking celebs trying for a fad diet caaused a shortage. Second of all it is some nasty ass shit.
It actually isn't a weight loss drug--that's a side effect, its an insulin/diabetes drug.
It kills you appetite. You are no longer hungry. Ever. That's not fucking right. It stops your stomach from working and digesting food. I've got the tests and scans to prove it. First time dr recommended it, I balked as the warning label pops up : "May cause Thyroid Cancer". Eventually I wasn't taking care of myself and gave it shot.
Greeeeat so I trade diabetes for Thyroid Cancer. I switched to another medsication and learned (or properly "am learning" to listen to my hunger queues--it sounds stupid but thats one of the reasons for being overweight)
So your 45 (or even 35) and Morbidly obese (Dreaded BMI, but no doubt if you hit "Morbid" you fat): Here's what going to happen, 100% You will get diabetes. You almost certainly will get heart disease (Hey bud your 40 and taking asprin like an old man! Joy!). Your circulation will begin to fail. Your kidneys will begin to fail. Your heart will begin to fail. Injuries don't heal. Arthritis will cripple your joints. You won't be able to walk anymore. This isn't "my 600 lb life" this is normal "fat positive" people in the 200-400 lb range.
Oh and diabetes kills your immune system so you are more than likey "at risk" for a bunch of shit like Covid Jabs, Flu shots, pneumonia shots.
TLDR:
Don't be fat.
