My son is finishing up his exchange semester in Germany......

I tried my first one tonight. It's the one he said that he drinks most often now.
Most of the locals consider it to be second best.

I must say that I have never tasted another beer quite like it, and I have tasted a lot of beer.

If this is what they drink everyday, like Americans do Budweiser, etc., then those Germans have got this shit figured out!

I have a 22 ounce mug I lifted from Outback one night.
Before I went out to mow the lawn, I stuck the mug and the beer in the freezer.
About 45 minutes later, they were ready for me and I was ready for them!
Poured perfectly, with a good 2" head and just a tiny bit of ice crystals.

Dammit! Now I want another one!
