Favorite 7mm WSM load?

I have just purchased a Winchester M70 Coyote 7mm WSM and I am wanting to shoot Hornady 162 grain A-max for long range shooting and Burger 168 VLD for elk hunting. Does anybody have a good recipe to start with?

Shot my elk this year at 800 with the Berger 180 vld's 65g H1000 CCI-br2 primers 2950Fps.

What rifle are you shooting those out of? I don't think I have a tight enough twist to shoot 180's. There are some loads listed on this forum that I plan to try. However I was hoping sombody had shot these bullets in similar rifles. Specifically the 168 VLD. Most loads listed on here are from custom barrels with tighter twists. My rifle is 100% factory for now anyway.

It is a GAP! Mine has a 1-8.7 twist. 1-9 twist will work with the 180's or 168's

Love 67.5 grains of H-1000 and 168's.

Also, love 68 grains of H-1000 and 162 AMax's....cheaper and perform just as well.
