Favorite muzzle brake for AR-10

I prefer the one that goes with the suppressor I am using. In most cases, that means the surefire dual port brake.

If not for that purpose, the clamp on brakes are decent for temporary installs.

I went with the Area 419 and I will never look back. The self timing feature of the 419 is amazing. It is VERY effective. Being able to take it off for cleaning is a big plus, especially when you can spin it right back on and you don't have to worry about having tools handy.

I had a apa lil bastard. It wa great but old and hard for spotter. I changed to the zrodelta for my 6.5 Christensen arms CA 10. Very smooth shooter and a lot less blast. I also got a Heathen. But the ZRODELTA is the one I stuck with.

A-419 Hellfire on my 308 and 6.5cm Matens. Have a TBAC Ultra 7 in ATF jail with the Hellfire adapter ready to screw into it. Had Lil Bastards but like the self-timing on the A-419 better and the can adapter made it that much better.

I’m another proponent of the APA Little Bastard Gen II.

I put one on my Tikka Tac A1 because the stock brake was plain ugly. The next match I shot I was able to spot trace all day. I liked the brake so much that I put one on my 308 gas gun too
