i like both the skeet and the patrol ... have both want both ... skeet is lighter and smaller and has azimuth ...

patrol has a rail which allows attachment of range finder or other items, such as a laser.
And patrol has readily available 3xg magnifiers to increase the distance/speed of PID.

I primarily use the skeet as a head mounted (hands free) spotter and the patrol as a long distance thermal range finder

I can attest that Patrol with 3x Magnifier is bad ass. I got a buddy that has same, except his doesn't have the Radius.

I got a Radius but sans letting said buddy borrow it. Hecque he lost his Patrol one day out deer hunting during the daytime and had to go buy a Metal Detector and spent 3 days hunting for his Patrol till he finally found it. If a person knew him like I know him, they wouldn't lend him a Radius either. But he is a dang good hunter, just bad about misplacing equipment sometimes.

Love my patrol. Wish it was the 300 or had a missing pixel to aim my radius with though.

Eye relief on some of the scanners can be an issue if you have glasses. I had a Helion that was near useless for me because of this as well as a friend’s Axion. I have run a Patrol in the past but currently use a Reap 35 as I like the extra magnification. No eye relief issues with glasses with the Trijicons and the image is pretty amazing.

I find myself picking up the Accolade xp50 LRF more that anything else we sell. Simply from a utilitarian approach the LRF and long running rechargeable battery system make it such a great unit for scanning. Image quality and display are right up there with anything you can find.
