Federal Gold Medal Match? Not so sure now

This doesn't look like match grade consistency to me. First go around with these FGMM AR small rifle primers, I have been using CCI 41s and like them, they all look the same inside.

Anyone know what I am looking at here? Well see how they shoot with a known load tomorrow.

How are you going to measure any changes? Group size? Chrono stats? Do you have a bunch of the ones you think are better to test against or are you going to rely on what you remember from last time you were paying attention to whichever metric you decide to use?

Point is, it might be damn hard to establish a causal relationship between the change in primers and downrange results. Hell, just thinking they might not work as well will likely make you shoot worse. Shoot them and don’t worry about it.

If that is indeed primer compound I am not sure how or why you defend inconsistent amounts of it in a primer labeled and marketed as match grade.
I am going to shoot them, if they shoot well good, if not, no more for me.
