What type of camera are you guys using to film your exploits? Shots to 500 are common where I'm at but most shots would be 300 and in.

Canon HF G30 or G40. I've been using a G30 for four years now and with a 20x optical zoom it does a very nice job. It's getting a bit dated since it doesn't record in 4K but if HD is good enough I can't recommend one highly enough.

Most of this video was filmed with my G30 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VVTdekncUac

I have an older 6 or 7 year old Cannon with 20x zoom and 10mp. I could mess around with that and see how it does. Also have some dslr cameras with Nikon lenses that someone abandoned in a storage unit my in laws have. Guess I forgot about using a straight up camera to record. I'm showing my age, LOL

i checked these out. Very nice and the videos are great. Just a bit more than I'd like to spend though. If I ever get over my rifle addiction I might buy one.
