Finally got to get back to the range yesterday

Its been raining every weekend for forever here lately. finally got to meet my son out there and shoot some yesterday. trying to get some dope on my AR for a upcoming gas gun match. shot this little group at 500.

Heckuva group. The rain down here in the south sure has been annoying. Ready for some warm weather, sunshine and a lot of range time.

Agreed, I finally got out Sunday. Weather has been shitty, but its starting to break up a bit. Next thing I know mowing will be eating up all my shooting time...

I got my new 308 gas gun dialed in with the AR332. I just finished rebarreling my Valkyrie. Went down to a 20" from 24". It's a work in progress, right now running a standard, creepy mil spec trigger group and a $10 hand me down Simmons 2-10x scope. But I wanted to shoot it so I snugged it all up and ran it out to 300yds after dialing it in at 100yds.

Shot this at 300yds last group I shot with it. Shooting cheap Federal 75gr, wind was gusting to 15mph right to left from behind me at about 4 o'clock. But considering it was shot with cheap ammo, bad trigger and in less than 10 seconds, I think this one will be a shooter. I built it for my wife to shoot. Gonna try the 88ELD and 90SMK out if I can get time this weekend. Hope this 1:6.5 twist likes the heavies better than the 1:7 twist did.

Cant wait to get them stretched out there past 300yds. Group looks good eddie102870, what kind of setup are you shooting there?
