I've waited many years one of these. Saw one at a gun show in the early 90's and fell in love with it. Thanks to a Hide Member "Seporith", I'm now a proud owner.

I couldn't wait to shoot it so I slipped off to the range late this afternoon. All I had was some 178 and 155 AMax that I had previously loaded for my Savage and I loaded up a few rounds topped off with Lapua 155's. This mix and match wound up being 24 rounds total. All groups are 5 rounds except for the one marked 4. It turned out to be the best but if I'd have had another round, it would've been a flier. Seems I always throw one.

I've been reading about the nuances of shooting with a bipod, which is pretty new to me. I was trying to remember to "load" the bipod, and I forgot sometimes. Also, I'm adapting my prone to get directly behind the rifle. This has made a profound difference in recoil management and in follow through.

I think it's going to be an awesome rifle. I'm stoked.

I had one and sold it...wait to you put the scope on and then you can see what it really can do. They are great shooters.
Kind of wish I didn't sell it.

It's stuck on 1x right now. The Steyr rings are "see thru" but don't seem too high like most. I'll know when I get some glass.

If I could shoot 4 shots into a .968" group with open sights I would be thrilled with my bad eyesight! You are doing very well and Paul was excellent to work with as well. Anthony
