Got it from Bud's, hopefully it'll be here by the end of this week or early next.
I've got a larue tactical 20moa base already and am seriously considering their ultra low QD rings. Does anyone have them or have any experience with them? I know they'll be top notch as far as quality goes like anything else from LT.
I'm pretty certain the height will work with the super sniper 10x42.

Re: finally ordered my SPS tactical .308

Congrats. I went with a Super Sniper 10x on an SPS Tac as my first rifle. They shoot well! I went with low rings, but super low will probably work with that config.

A little OT- I am a Bulldog man myself! I have two English bullies.

Re: finally ordered my SPS tactical .308

Nothing wrong with the LaRue rings. I run them on my RECCE.

The only concern might be paying extra for the QD feature and never using it. Do you really plan to remove and reinstall your scope from a bolt rifle? If not, buy a traditional set of rings, save some money, and enjoy the extra reliability obtained from a cross-bolt style attachment system.

I have a couple SPS-Ts myself;

Here's a set of low-height (0.820") Seekins rings on a 20 MOA Seekins base. The scope is a 4-14x44mm Falcon

Here's a set of ultra-low (0.820") TPS rings on a 20 MOA, 2-piece NF base. The scope is a 4-16x50mm Vortex.

Ours is about 3 1/2 months old now. He's a little shit. Too much fun but I think he's in his doggy "terrible 2's" right now lol.

Re: finally ordered my SPS tactical .308

I've been thinking about it and I may just get some different rings. I could swap the scope between a couple rifles but "could" and WILL are 2 different things.
Any suggestions for different rings? I know that's one of those can o' worm questions.

Re: finally ordered my SPS tactical .308

they should work.

I'd reccommend a pair of low mount seekins rings though, top quality and made in the USA for not much more.

Re: finally ordered my SPS tactical .308

Just picked up mine today. Also ordered it from Bud's. Love it, everything work as expected so far. My only gripe (and everyone who own one of these) is the stock touch the barrel when using a bipod / sandbag.

The Burris rings aren't bad. I have a set on my LR-308. If you don't mind spending a few dollars more, these are great:

Or you can get them in aluminum for a little less:

I ordered a set of these because I didn't really want to spend $100+ on rings for a budget build, and I'm really impressed with them for the price. You can get them in low or super-low depending on what will work best for you. Definitely better than the Burris (but not quite as nice as the Seekins).

Liberty Optics.

Re: finally ordered my SPS tactical .308

That sucks.

I guess you'll have to order them direct, or e-mail Liberty Optics and get on their waiting list.

Sorry. I can't think of anyone else who carries them.
