R = [L[SUP]2[/SUP] / ( D * T )] + [( D * T ) / 4]​

Where​

L = length of the ogive from the cylindrical portion of the body to the tip in inches
D = bullet diameter in inches
T = the diameter of the bullet tip (metplate) in inches
R = radius of the curve of the ogive in inches​
