I just shot my pet load using 44.2 gr of varget with new Lapua brass. Id I just want to neck and bump this batch of brass do I 1.) just add 0.1-0.2 gr to make up for the increase volume or 2.) re-develop a new load?

What about my third firing? If I continue to neck and bump the volume should grow.

I presume you are talking about your .308

option 3.) Load it the same and shoot it...

3rd firing. If your bolt handle lifts hard after shooting, bump the shoulder back .002 and load it up the same. If you dont get a hard handle lift, then you can shoot it again before you need to bump the shoulder.

Preston - Yes 308 using 175 SMK and 210m primers.
