Gunsmithing Firing pin size ?

Guys I have a surgeon 591 with .062 firing pin .473 face that I got for a 6.5-47 lapua , question is will this work ok on a large rifle primer as far as ingnition as well as it does for small rifle primer ?

Keep your action, .062 is perfect no need to go larger,and has more +++ than negatives
