Hey Everyone,

I've been reading for a little bit trying to put a rifle together for myself. This will be my first bolt action to get me into shooting longer ranges. I plan on shooting it like this for a while and then upgrading the scope base and stock first.

So far it's just:
Rem 700 AAC-SD in .308
SWFA 12x
TPS TRS ultra low rings
Blackhawk 20moa base

I can see where people have problems with this stock. If you press on the front of it at all, it will bend and touch the barrel. Even just resting it on a bi-pod would be enough to push it into the barrel. I bedded the Blackhawk base with JB Weld because it had a pretty good sized gap at the back. Hopefully it will be ok until I replace it with the stock.

Quick question: How do I get the scope perfectly straight up and down. I adjusted the reticle until it looked pretty good but how do you get it perfect?
