I was hoping for a longer range shot but this one came out under 100 yards, so much for practicing out to 500 yards.

Yeah I don't know what the deer are eating this year, but all the deer that I have seen harvested so far are heavy.

    Nebraska Corn-fed I guess!!!!

I took him straight to my taxidermist, I will get him officially scored when done. But my taxidermist thought he would net around 145, but I hope your closer.

He could be right just because he has actual hands on. If he is a a typical 10 pt. then he will get an extra mass measurement near the end. He is thick from the bases all the way out to the tips and there looks to be some palmation also. Your Taxi and you may be surprised after dry time. No matter what amount of bone on his head he is one to be proud of for sure. Congrats.

Northeast Corner of Nebraska right along the Missouri River.
