First Outing with Atlas Bipod

Went to the range today with the Atlas on my MWS and it was a big difference than with the Harris I have been using.

Loading the bipod was much easier and also allowed better control. Believe it or not, I took 1/2" off my groups.

I am not what I call a good shot, I would rather work on the rifles than shoot them....my friends call me the "pit crew" and not the "driver", that does not bother me at all...

Today with Black Hills 168 grain, Atlas bipod and me trying to steady, I shot three 3/4" groups in a row, four shots each...I packed up and called in a day with a big grin...

Yes the Atlas is worth it. But I am amazed at how tight the controls are: the pan and tilt knob, the knurled knobs on the legs and the push button to fold the legs. I have to tap with a punch on one side to fold up the leg, may need some breaking in.
