Had bigger plans for this build but a few unforeseen things came up so I had to forego the custom action. I was looking for a new coyote/varmint gun but didn't want a 12-14# rifle since we do a lot of walking to our calling spots. Decided to go 260 after reading a lot on the forum so I Started off with a Rem 700 La done up with a #3 bartlein barrel finished at 26", I can really set the Berger Vld out. Dropped it into a Manners EH-3 had to do a little inletting, I used stock bdl Bm (thanks GrantA), and a Seekins 20 moa rail (Thanks Scotty22). Painted the barreled action flat black and the stock myself using the sponge method. I'm going to bed my 22 for practice then bed it using Devcon Aluminum Putty unless someone suggest something else? To top it off I'm going with a Vortex Pst 6-24 ffp ebr-1. Cant wait to get it out and shoot it, got some rounds ready to go. Everything should be done for Dad and I coyote hunt coming up the third week of Feb. This forum is great and really helped a newbie like me out.
