First time out to 575 yards today with the B&C Stock and Podclaws. Easily saw my hits at that range with the help of loading up the bipod and a rear bag. Until today I had not had really ventured past 300 so I felt pretty accomplished. Didn't shoot any groups, just going for targets that I placed out there.
Had a few pumpkins left on the range so after pinging the steel a few times I thought I'd try my hand at a 7" pumpkin, kept hitting everything but the damn pumpkin, I had several shots going less than an inch to the right. Kind of disappointing in that but overall I felt really pleased with myself.
Rifle:
Remington 700 SPS-V .308
B&C Light Tactical Medalist
Bushnell 10x40
EGW 20 MOA Base
Burris XTR Rings
Harris BRM with Pod claws
using some rounds loaded up by Cowboy Bart with Sierra 168s in Hornady brass. Met with some pretty favorable results.
Here's some pics:
Dirty range: (I tried to mark the ranges, but it didnt show up, ranges are 100 up front, 340 on the right berm, and 575 at the back metal plate
and the roommate firing his first gun even:
