I have yet to shoot my 308 with the PWS FSC30 but from what I've seen in the YouTube videos, I will not be disappointed in the least bit. I have no doubt that you're gonna love the compensator/brake, if only by watching these videos.

you pay for a reduction in recoil with a lot more noise and blast from a brake.I never use a brake for anything in the 5.56,6mm,or smaller carts but that is just me.The discomfort outweighs any benefit in addition to really pissing off the poor bastard shooting next to you at a range.

POF makes good breaks as well.
My buddy said he could feel it in his bones after the 10th shot ha ha!!!

Notice I have ear muffs not plugs
I learned the hard way after the first 100 rounds. I'd like to get some electronic ear muffs.

What kind of advice are you asking for, since it's on the way?
If you are average Joe, just use it and be happy I ran an FSC30 on a 6.8 and had zero issues as the shooter, but it does blow back at the spectators. Not horribly, however, so I was pretty happy with it. Good muzzle control, not loud, really, and I assume the flash hiding abilities are noticeably superior to a tank brake.
If you are loaded, I recommend buying a Battle Comp, and a KAC triple tap, swap all 3 back and forth, and running the one you like better.
If you have no money, I recommend denying shipment and using your A2: the best muzzle device for the money
In any case, be sure to post your choices and results.

Depends on what you are looking for, an effective muzzle brake or more of a flash hider. The Carlson Mini Comp was approved by the BATFE as not a flash hider even though it is basically a shorter A2 flash hider, so if you live in a ban state it may be worth looking at. It was the last muzzle device they ever reviewed so they may have just not cared all that much, since it doesn’t have a baffle. Still most of the ban states base their definition of a flash hider on what the BATFE has approved.
