Gunsmithing flash hider

Im getting a LWRCI M6A2, says it has a pemanantley attached flash hider. I want to have that removed and and change the flash hider to a threaded one so i can screw a supressor on. Im looking at getting a gemtech can. How can I remove the hider and what flash supressor should I get to replace it with threads?

It depends on how they attached it. You may want to contact them and ask their method of making it permanent.

I'm sure it's nothing that can't be dealt with on a lathe.

I saw one, and it looks like it is pinned on the bottom side.

Cross pinned or blind hole (straight in)?

If straight, then drill out the pin and unscrew it.

yeah it appears to be straight in, thanks for the info, now I just have to wait about another month and a half for it to get shipped.
