I'm reloading for my 6.5 Grendel in an AR platform. .. on several of my loads my new brass is experiencing flattening. What is causing this and should I be alarmed? I have a pic but I cant figure out how to load it via my phone.

Sounds normal; like you brass (specifically the necks) are hitting the brass deflector as the brass is ejected. Nothing to be overly concerned about IMHO.

What he said^^^^^. AR's are like that. Semiautos are designed to operate hard and fast. Their goal is to get rid of the waste product and get another good round into battery for the next shot. Damage to the waste product is of no concern to the mission objective.
You can get some adhesive Velcro from Wally World and cut out a piece of the fuzzy half to stick to your shell deflector if it bothers you. This will help protect your brass and prevent those brass-colored marks on the deflector. Your reloading dies will take care of neck dents when you re-size. Body dents will iron them selves out when you fire them the next time if they don't come out when resizing, although SERIOUS body dents would be cause to discard that particular round.
