I have a buddy with the 50mm 640 version ... he uses it all the time since it is his only thermal, but it does require boresight adjustment when he mounts it to a new rifle, so it isn't just "mount and forget" ... and you will be limited to about 2-4x magnification on the day scope with the 336, depending on your tolerance for fuzz (like surgeon_shooter said in the other thread).
