I want to install flush cups on the side of a pst-026 stock. It has an adjustable cheek rest that appears scientifically placed to exactly where it's in the way. I want the rear cup as high as possible so the rifle naturally sits sideways on my back with a backpack style sling.
Can anybody tell me what the metal parts of the adjustable cheek rest look like inside the stock? I don't want to screw it up. If I grind a bit of the front edge of the cheek rest away and just aim the drill to miss the metal tube in the stock will it work out ok? Options other than a flush cup?
