Gunsmithing Flush cup positions???

Re: Flush cup positions???

Mine are installed on the non-bolt side of the rifle (left side of right handed rifle). I don't know about everyone else, but I did it so the smooth side of the rifle rides against my back when slung. The flat side is much more stable/comfortable when hiking around a field.

I have 2 McM A5 stocks and they have 5 cups. This gives the carrier (porter) options to position the sling.

The positions are:-

One on each side of the fore-end.

One oneach side of the butt.

One below the butt.

The rifles have Freeland rails on them.
