Has anyone tried putting a fluch cup in an A2 stock? If so how did you do it and how did it work out?

You can install flush cups in almost any stock, you just drill the whole for the flush cup, epoxy them in, 24 hours later your good to go. I'd give it a 3 out of 10 on the easy-ometer.

I didn't really think it would be hard. I'm just not sure how sturdy it would be in an A2 stock. Is their enough there for it to bite into?

That's what I've been wondering too. In better times I'd just buy 3 and give it a go, now I'd prefer to hear how it worked out with someone else's money.

I'm looking to install one on the left side of my A2.

Tag, would like to install 2 on both sides of my T4A.

Where is the best place to get flush cups? What kind of epoxy does everyone use?

I purchase mine from Triad Tactical .Its hard to tell from the pic but they have a course outer threading, any epoxy will do, I have used everything from Marine Tex to JB Weld.

I remember seeing a thread wear somebody epoxied a piece of sheet metal to the flush cup that went inside the stock for reinforcement. they epoxied the reinforcement to the inside of the stock.
