This is the place to ask. I just bought a unissued FN-49 and wanted to scope it because they are supposed to be really accurate, and I have a bunch of the ammo. I found a S&K mount that replaces to rear sight and attaches to that removable milled piece. It is removable and has a couple thousandths play which is not good. I do not know if the SK mount has a way to tighten that tolerence. Anyway does anybody have any experience or ideas? There was a company that went out of business that made a rail mount for specific contract FN's but my rifle does not have that rail on left side of the receiver. Any thoughts would help.
