FN A1a SPR thoughts?

someone i know is being given this by FN, so i think he "has" to use it over his normal gun..

so im guessing since it has a hard-chromed bore it will be lacking some?.. or am i wrong?

I had one. I bedded it. It shot 5/8MOA. So really a decent performing rifle.

I do think I'd have paid $100 to get the barrel in stainless steel instead, shooting 1/3MOA if that's possible.

The chrome lining probably doesn't help promote accuracy. It doesn't destroy it either, but if it doesn't help, it's not helping.

I shot .75 inch 5 shot group at 200 with my A5. Great looking and shooting guns.

What's the experience with bullet weight? With 1:12 twist, does it like 168 better than 175?

I have one coming so I want to decide where to start

I have one, one of the first ones out. I have shot quite a few ~.5 groups with black hills 175 grain match or equivelent hand loads. I might be able to tighten the consistency if I had a scope with more than 10x.

They shoot them just fine. I have a 20" and it shoots them great.

I had a .5 inch group at 100 and a .75 inch group at 200 with 175 FGM
