I have a FN SPR with 20" fluted barrel in a Mc Millan A4 stock and a FN PBR reciever without a barrel . I plan on putting a new barrel on one of these actions but I'm unsure what direction to take , should I swap the 20 " over to the PBR and put the new barrel on the SPR or just barrel the PBR ?
The SPR seems to be smoother feeling and from what I've read is factory trued , not sure about the PBR ? . What smithing would be needed to swap the 20"r over to the PBR and would this also allow for less bullet jump from magazine length loads ?
Thanks !

If this would be more trouble than it is worth I may have LRI do a Tier 1 & pin bushing on the PBR and call it a day , I plan on a 7SAW for the new barrel , either a PR Carbon or a Bart or Broughton . $$$ is always a concern so I'm looking for the most cost-effective option available . The current jump on the SPR is not acceptable and that is why I am considering a swap & smith work to the PBR if feasible .
