Looks like FN has a product improved FN SCAR that they submitted for the NSW MRGG-S and MRGG-A programs.

Redesigned upper a lower with MLok, uses SR25 mags, ar15 style forward assist and dust cover, ambi controls, ar15 charging handle as well as a non reciprocating ambi side charger.

All around it seems to be a good evolution of the design other than the multiple charging handles. Id love to see this offered to the unwashed masses.

Edit: one thing to note is that if FN has a bolt that can handle the pressures, The MRGG-A looks to be a good alternative to the Sig NGSW-R for customers that haven’t committed to Sig’s rifle. The vanilla SCAR with 13in saves well over half a pound over Sig’s rifle. If this stays close to that weight it may be compelling.

FN's take on Sig's M5 and m250. Sweet.

Sweet.

I just hopes it's barrel is incompatible with the mk17 and mk20's. Bonus points if you can still grenade your carrier if you mount the wrong can.
