I had no idea these existed. I need one of these!
Since death is a possible outcome, I'd say it's an issue that I'd take seriously.
If “death” was not a possible outcome, it would not be a firearm.
Is it me or does FN seem to recall everything… at least since John Browning stopped working for them??

I believe this is related to an issue with the manual safety. There was a recall maybe 1-2 months ago that basically specified an inspection procedure (apply the safety, cock the hammer, and pull the trigger; call us if the hammer drops). Mine passes that test, but so much as breathe near the safety and it will allow the hammer to drop with a full trigger pull. I could easily see where minor wear could cause this to go from acceptable to unsat.
